We are more like a chasing the car, Yappy Dog than kicking the tires. If the car were to actually stop, Yappy Dog would be stunned and not sure what to do.

You know... the usual list of unrealistic conditions that always apply to Oriole rumors of such magnitude.

I'm not sure they'll even go that far. The Cardinals made him a qualifying offer of $14.1M. Peter Angelos says, "too rich for my blood," and folds his cards.

If we were to sign Ellsbury, I'd be fine parting ways with HH.... only downside he ends up a Sox.

It would have to be the right player... We have plenty of young pitching developing and we might have to use 1 or 2 to get a player we need.
